The weather outside was a bit chilly, but when you walked into Great Seneca Elementary School, you felt like you were in the tropics. It was the annual Beach Bash and again, it was a huge success.
TikiTreats DC was the hit of the party -- kids and parents lining up at 3 tiki bars to get a delicious and refreshing Hawaiian shave ice.
Everyone wore leis and did the hula -- the most popular dance song seemed to be Gangnam Style -- there was a lot of energy when that song played.
The kids were just thrilled to get to an umbrella in their frozen treat, but most of all the PTA was thrilled because we donated 15% of sales back to the PTA and it was the best year ever!
Beach Bash another huge success -- a BIG MAHALO to all of the volunteers who helped coordinate the event. We'll see you in May for the Spring Carnival.
