- 1/2 cup pear nectar or apple juice
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 2 pears, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh fennel
- 1/4 tsp ground licorice* (optional)

Instructions
- In blender, combine pear nectar, applesauce, pears, banana, fennel, and licorice (if using). Process as directed until smooth.
- *Avoid licorice if you have high blood pressure. The prolonged use of licorice is not recommended under any circumstances.
