It was well over 90 degrees......typical hazy, hot, horrible end-of-summer weather in the Washington DC area.
But it was also Labor Day. And everyone was at the City of Gaithersburg's annual Labor Day Parade.
They needed to cool off. So where did they go?
The TikiTreats truck! Once we were set up the line didn't stop for hours. Everyone in line to get a cool refreshing Hawaiian shave ice. The kids LOVED IT -- all of them wanting an umbrella in their frozen treat. No wonder people call us a "vacation in a cup!"
